On 22 May 2009, the anarchist comrade Mauricio Morales died in action, when the explosive device he was carrying in an attempt to attack the infamous school for prison guards in the Matta neighbourhood detonated early.
Mauri’s life in tension, for the Anarchy, shows us that putting ideas into practice is not a game, nor a fashion. To risk our freedom or life is also to assume that the path is, and will be until the last consequences.
Dear Mauri… new fighters and your comrades we carry you in our daily work, in our memory and in our acts. always seeking to attack the Power and its allies.
In the street, in our places, in our active hands, you can still find our comrades who have left this world. Time passes and Mauri continues to walk with us; his comrades, and new complicities, and this is not a simple slogan, but rather a concrete fact.
With the love intact, the emotion of the living memory, this anarchic meeting is once again taking place but in parallel with the comrades from Chile in the Espacio Fénix. The invitation is made to feed and expand the dangerous memory of the warrior Mauri, because nothing is over and everything continues.
